    Hey all,

I've recently picked up Halo: Reach, and started playing around with Forge after watching Achievement HORSE, and really starting to understand the full power of Forge. I'm pretty familiar with the Halo 3 Forging environment, and did cook some custom maps up for friends, but never really got into it much (partially due to that these were the days before Sandbox, and I never really searched around for Forgers).

Anyway, I've been brainstorming an idea of creating a Territories/CtF/KotH*** map that has a series of interconnected platforms around a central area (think of it like a ring with 8* points on the ring connected to the middle). Each of these points will have a hill/territory marker on it. On the center platform, there will be a series of plasma coils, one for each of the platforms on the outer ring. By destroying one these plasma coils, it lights a fuse which triggers a shredder**. After a few seconds the shredder kicks and kills EVERYTHING on the territory it was activated on.

I've learned about using button tricks and such to help get around the explosive limit (and I need to see if I can use loose grenades as a fuse; I vaguely recall that in Customs Games, they'll explode but I might be misremembering).

I've been having some issues with specific vehicles seemingly not respecting the spawn time (i.e. the Scorphin), but that might have been due a stupidity error on my part. Thoughts, suggestions, ideas?

(I'll be uploading some of my experimentation maps to my File Share once I get them working properly).

    * - Due to explosives limitations, this number will likely have to be reduced to 4 at most

** - not sure if this term if familiar here. Vehicles placed over a kill ball to cause wreckage to spew on the field below it.

*** - Might also work well as a multi-team slayer map with tweaking.

Your spelling is off the chain, might wanna work on that. So basically you want a KOTH then have a shredder destroying the hill? Not sure if that's a good idea, unless you like lag.
