Alright, So I'm planning on building a map out in the guardian zone of Sandbox. Anyway, I wanted to ghost merge an object into the outer wall of the map (at the base of the guardian towers). I got one wall merged into the outer wall, perpendicular to the ground. When I try to ghost merge another one into the outer wall (as a ramp up to the first one), it disappears as soon as I let it go. Anything I can do or should I just scrap the idea?
If you go so far out and place objects on the guardian towers they dissapear, like when you try to place objects past invisible barriers. ty forging the map further in. if that isnt the case try going over your geomearging technique again...
Try saving and quiting whilst you're holding the object in place. And if that doesn't work, make sure the object isn't merged too far into geometry, because if it is it will only appear at certain angles.
Objects placed in certain areas auto-delete after a few seconds and this can only be diverted by saving and quitting with the object in place. You should only encounter this problem outside of maps like sandbox.
Yeah, i had that same issue.. i was making a map around the base of one of the guardian towers (actually including the tower itself) but pieces kept being deleted. Only saving and quitting works. However, because the item is merged into a kill barrier, it sometimes randomly kills you when you walk on it.
