    Hello everyone.

today, I discovered a technique that some, or most of you may already have figured out. On Sandbox, if you want to geomerge a double or block large into the ground more, or ever so slightly, the way I will tell you is much more efficient than the "old way." So, spawn a double block and put it at whatever angle you want, horizontal, or vertical. then, spawn a wall, or wall double and put it on top of the box. Set the respwan time on the box to 180 and end game. then start up new game and go to your floating wall. spawn another wall and hold it under the floating wall. save and quit then. start up your game and then start new round. in the next round, spawn yur double box and then brace it with teleporters. press a on the box and the box will be merged ever so slightly. This is a fool proof technique. It only works for blocks and double blocks. I have tried this technique out at least 50 + times and it has worked. If you think it does not work, don't call me a noob please. I am only telling you this because i want all of you guys and gals to know and it will help you in your forging days.

    thanks, nuvnuv123:happy:

That's...basically the old way of geomerging. Sorry, but it's nothing new, you're just using a thinner merging object.

Yep, what he said, this is the old method laid out basically. However, in my crusade against save&quit for floating objects, I must object to your suggestion to save&quit the wall under the other wall. Set up a man cannon so the stream is pointing more or less perpendicular to the first wall you placed(sometimes it helps to place it on a ramp so you can get a higher angle), then use it to float another wall underneath. Voila! No save&quit needed, and you've got a nicely braced floating object.

I do still love save&quit for geomerging though, to make sure things stay at the correct angle or go back to the correct angle in the case of the teardrop method.
