So, I went to get Gears 2 a few weeks ago. It was all new literally the day it came out. Guess how much i got it for? No, not £50, £40, £30. I got it for £19.99. Yep, That much. Sainsburys(An english supermarket) had priced up the game wrong. Rumor has it that the idiots thought it was Gears 1. So i got a new game for £19.99. Bonus story. So i decided to Sells gears 2 a few weeks after completing it. I went to CEX(Computer Entertainment Xchange). It was priced up for me at £40.00. Yep, I made free money thanks to sainsburys. £20.01 profit. So now i have FARCRY 2
So you are telling me that you sold GoW2 for Far Cry 2, a game that has an amazing map making system, but has horrid gameplay?
Well im getting Gears 2 at christmas anyway or just borrow my friends alot as he doesnt like gears 2. So i think im alright
This is what happens when you mix idiots with computers and retailing. That's pretty awesome for you.
its like the time when i went to curcuit city to get sims 2(when it came out). it was supposed to be $50, and they priced it up for $8, i got it installed so you dont have to use the disk then returned it and made a $42 profit. after abuncha arguing with the clerks. it goes to show you that when you go to to buy a game, get it somewhere where they dont speacialize in JUST GAMES, get it at a crappy store(like curcuit city)
Lucky boy. The CEX shop is a mad place anyway the one went to was offering £80 to trade in Wii fit even though it only costs £70 to buy brand new. It was like that for weeks so I think they seriously wanted some in stock.
*Goes to Sainsbury's* Wow, he's right! I'll keep my copy, though. Keep this quiet, guys. Don't let this get off this website...
Wow that is incredible. I still don't see why you would sell it but still selling it for twice the price you bought it? That is pretty amazing
