So I’ve got a Forge map that I’ve finished. I want to make a video to show off the map, but I’m not sure how I can capture footage.

Custom games don’t seem to show up in recent films in theatre. They will show up as the last game played, but you can’t bookmark that film, and it would be awkward to start a lobby, play the map, and then end it immediately to gather footage.

I’m really not sure what do. Suggestions?

You could turn on machinima controls and use that to capture the action. Snap Game DVR and tell it to start a recording and when you're done, simply end the recording. From there you can trim and edit it there or you can upload it to OneDrive! Hope this helps!

Currently, theater does not save recent films for custom games. Only the most recent completed custom game will appear in the "watch now" tab. I have made some devs aware of this bug already. For now, the solutions outlines in response to this thread will have to do.
