So I'm working on a map based on the "Fizzy Lifting Drinks" scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The map is on Impact, and the way it's laid out, there are 8 spawns (subject to change), all separated by walls, with a central 5x5 'tube' in the middle. You walk in, hit one of four heavy grav lifts, and are then propelled gently upward by several 5x5 gravity volumes in conjunction with a Trait Zone which reduces player gravity to 50%. The only problem I have now is trying to come up with gameplay that will be fun and engaging, but also somewhat competitive.

I'm thinking I'll give the players Conc rifles, let them blast each other out the sides, likely into kill zones, then add a Juggernaut element to it where one or more players get heavier as they earn kills, a la the part where Charlie and his grandfather start burping.

Can anyone give me any insight as to whether this can actually be done and how?

Changing gravity based on kills is impossible as far as I know.

Are you thinking about making it similarly to Zealot?

I'm thinking of doing it Juggernaut style. You can alter the Juggernaut's gravity under Movement in the Traits menu, iirc. Much like the Fat Kid gametype. Unfortunately that means only one person will win. And due to the verticality of the map, I may have to limit the number of lives each player gets.

I want all the action to happen in the tall, hollow central structure. It's just a big tube

There's no juggernaut in Halo 4.

    There's Regicide, no?
And the king gets special traits after a short period
    So I'll do that

So I scrapped the regicide idea in favor of a normal slayer style gametype. Decided to make the tube "perpetual" with a teleporter at the top and receiver at the bottom, along with a soft kill zone on the respawns to keep people moving toward the center.
