Hey guys, recently I made a weapon dispenser that I would like to incorporate into my map. However, I have absolutely no idea what gametype I could use to put a weapon dispenser in. Slayer doesn't make sense, and objectives doesn't really make sense. The only things I can think of are Flood and minigames. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks a lot! First let me say this thing is really cool. I watched your video looks like it behaves flawlessly. As for what to use it for a couple of things need to be considered one it costs almost 1/10 of an already tiny budget. Second you can do almost the same thing with random ordinance drops. These two fact lead me to believe that as you said above it is kinda limited to flood and mini games. One mini game that jumps to mind. You could have everyone start by the dispenser. In a place where they can hurt each other. Someone sets it off and everyone picks a toy at random then teleports to a FFA arena.
Yeah fiesta that was the word I was looking for. The cool thing about your dispenser compared to a random drop is that it doesn't feel like Rng is messing with you. With your system you could add a level of fun to fiesta by allowing people to choose where to teleport to after they got their weapon. Which decreases the randomness of the game type
