Being that you only get one shot at life, why spend it playing video games? I respond to your question with another question: If you only live life once, why spend it on the internet? But srsly... Ignorance is bliss, perhaps? Maybe video games are the most exciting thing to a person. If that's the case, then they'd be in ecstacy yet they wouldn't be aware of the possible wonders beyond gaming within their reach. Edit: I'm not sure how much sense I'm making. It's 4:30am
Because People think it makes you cool, ON TOPIC; Basically What everone said, There going to do something they enjoy, And if thats what they want to do other than almost get a girlfriend, Shopping, etc. Then they'll Do it, its there life, Why not let them live it up how they want to .
I would be spending my time doing something else, but sometimes, "somewhere else" won't to buy it And drugs definately make you cool. I am living proof.
I'm willing to bet that this discussion will lead to the meaning of life. So to cut to the chase, I'm going to say who cares, as long as you live your life having a good time?
Im not saying that playing video games is bad. But to the point where you don't even get out of the house.. it's kinda weird. Yes, you can enjoy video games, but it seems like there are things out there that could be your passion, and you could have a better time doing them rather than video games. Drugs ruin lives. Even if you're not the person taking them, they effect everybody.
Maybe they dont have anything better to do, There anti social with no friends and have abusive parents, What else would you want to do other than sit in your room alone playing games?
That's an exception. But there are people with perfectly good lives that are capable of much more than sitting at home all day. Who knows, maybe one of the greatest inventions would have been discovered if the person who was to invent it, wasn't just sitting around playing video games all day.
It's just what they want to do then. I mean, Im sure somone who doesnt like that waste his time with that but if you do like playing video games that much, your going to just sit there and play.
They don't know if they really like to play video games untill they have actually gone out and have done stuff. Like, hike on a trail, go ice skating, hang out with friends, go to a baseball game, play in basketball city league, go to a dance club or even hit some balls at a batting cage. There is this guy at this tourist attraction town, and there's an arcade. He plays DDR, with both mats, while juggling, and the arrows shake and turn invisible every once in a while. I see him every time I go there. Do you think he's done anything other than play video games? I dunno.
He learned how to juggle, And he has to get outside to get to that arcade, He is out if he knows about the arcade, Nobody accually waste there whole Life playing games.. I mean, its impossible.
