As some of you might know, there will soon be a team of people dedicated to helping others script. We will be documenting all we can about scripting, jumping on to give people advice, and more. Basically, if we see something we think can help we'll do it. Unfortunately, right now we only have a core team of a few members. If this seems like it's something you're interested in please post your GT below as well as some of your strengths, like just about any application. If you have a map with particularly complicated scripting you can link that too. You don't have to be an expert in every field of scripting, but you should be ready to learn and to teach. There's no real commitment, but you'll be given the Guru title in a Discord chat so that way others are aware that you know your sh*t. GT: Agent Zero85 Sign me up. I have plenty of experience working with scripting to get what i need done. I'm starting to create my own techniques for scripting cool little things. However, in terms of scripting, my greatest feat would be my newest Corvettes Map. (to be posted on forgehub...) I attached explosives that move with the Corvettes, that once destroyed, destroy the ship. Im currently working on expanding this into a full Naval War, 2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2. In summary, i know a bit of everything, and when it comes to scripts+welded objects i'm your guy.
I still can't decide if putting together the equivalent of the naval battles from Assassin's Creed would be any good or just crap. I've only played Black Flag, but I assume other AC games are similar. Anyways, looks like you could pull it off.
