I recently finished a map with more a few fx on it such as different types of smoke and fire. One problem is it tends to disappear after the first round. Can anyone explain this to me or how to fix it so it stays or continues into the next couple rounds?
I encountered the same issue. I don't believe there's any workaround. FX will only show up in the first round of a multi-round gametype.
I tried using the steam burst with blue lights on it for a water effect. It looked pretty believable. Only problem is when I go into player mode, the effect disappears. I've tried loading the effect into a custom game and it doesn't show anything there.
Awesome 343.... Well at least I'm not the only one experiencing this. Someone suggested messing with despawn/respawn timers, I'll play around with that and see what happens. And thats odd it wont show. Theres so many little bugs that occur when you do certain things. Do you think maybe changing the map settings like exosphere to blue planet or something along those lines will help or does it totally just not spawn lol?
Think I just found a workaround. Someone suggested messing with spawning and despawning in scripts, so I selected all of my fx and added 1 script to all to spawn at the start of every round. Seems to work.
