Fusillade Co-created by GrimHippy 666 and Spankimus1114. "It's difficult not to get caught in the crossfire. Co-created by GrimHippy 666 and Spankimus1114. 2-10 players." Introducing my third map to be posted on Forge Hub, Fusillade. With thanks to Spankimus1114, who helped out with the visuals and some layout of the map! Fusillade is a small to medium size symmetrical map best suited for 2 team gametypes, but is also a good free-for-all map. 10 players is the recommended maximum number of players. The first thing you may notice is the slight resemblance to the geometry of Foundry. Well, that's because this map is a remake of one I made on Halo 3 on Foundry, named Crossfire. I tried my best to recreate Foundry's feel and to re-purpose the coliseum's floorspace, and I hope this carries across. So, as with every team-based Foundry style map, there are two bases, one either side of the large wall. There are walkways stretching all the way along the sides of the coliseum, hence the "crossfire" aspect of the map. Blue side walkway. Dividing the two bases are the Rocket Launcher/ Sniper Rifle spawns in the centre structure. It has two levels. An overview of the centre structure. First floor looking from Sniper Rifle spawn. Ground level looking towards Rocket Launcher spawn. Looking towards the centre structure from Blue Base. Behind the centre structure. Inside the covered walkway is the Shotgun. Weapons and Vehicles: 4x DMR, 60s 4x Needle Rifle, 60s 4x Assault Rifle, 30s 2x Plasma Repeater, 30s 2x Magnum, 60s 1x Needler, 60s 1x Shotgun, 150s 1x Sniper Rifle, 180s 1x Rocket Launcher, 180s 6x Medical Stations, 30s 4x Mongoose, 120s The Mongooses spawn at the bases, two on either side. They're simply designed to allow players to move faster towards the more powerful weapons and to move towards the engagement. Note: I haven't been able to test this with full teams, so there may be some problems I haven't discovered yet. Thanks for taking a look at Fusillade, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did re-creating it! Please make sure to post any feedback you have to this thread, and, if you have the time, please check out my older maps, Reminiscent and Cache! Many thanks, GrimHippy 666.
