if you are talking about the screenshot where the blue player is needling the red one up in the observation room, that was put in to make bomb planting harder in the asymmetrical assault gametype. The length of the box scales the length of the bridge, since there are only two ways out of the furnace. This is to "even" the game so that players cant walk right out the front to the roof of the building. thanks for your input. -ajpsk8

wow this looks great just out of curiosity how did you get the fusion coils to constantly explode and are there any propane tanks in the furnace as well?

I downloaded and checked out your map. I will start with the good: Interesting design,well thought out. Some good use of interlocking, but not groundbreaking, could have been used a little more. Now, the bad: The focal point of this map, The Furnace, is ANNOYING AS HELL. I'm not trying to be mean, but when I play on a great map I don't hear the constant barrage of explosions the entire match. It got annoying to me about 10 seconds in so I know I couldn't last a 5 minute match on this map. Also, this map will definitely lag over Live with a larger party,especially with the constant BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!! May I suggest that you ask for this map to be moved to the casual section? I just know that serious custom game freaks won't wanna play a competitive game on this map,and if it's designed just for your gametype,then it should definitely be in casual. Don't take this all as bad because if placed under the casual forums this is a really solid map.
this map looks really good, i would download, but im at my 100 item limit :-( when me and my partner finish our most recent project i should have room...that takes up like 10 slots >.<
interlocking looks great. But the base, made of walls looks sloppy. Other than that looks great. graphic at top looks kinda cool.
Done I have a fusion coil spawned at a man cannon and it flys off to hit a tower of fusion coils surrounded by four propane tanks. The run time minimum is set as high as it can be for both. Without the focal point of the map being a constant explosion, this map would not exist. Turn your volume down maybe? I spent 3 months on this map sometimes spending 4 hours on end with the explosion going and it didn't get to me. While testing the maps, no one had issues about the sound and made it thru the game to say "let's play again" This map was not created for the hammer hill variant. This map was made and then afterwards I made a variant for the map. It was made for all competitive gametypes, mainly FFA KoTH. thanks for taking your time to look into the map though, I appreciate it and didn't mean to come off as rude, I just couldn't find other ways to form the sentences.
