Golden Forging Presents Frosty Acres Frosty Acres takes up most of foundry. There is a lot of unique features to this one of a kind map. The Forge Techniqes Used: - Save/Quit Method - Interlocking Technique - Merging with Map Geometry Gametypes to be played with: - Slayer - Team Slayer - Capture The Flag - FFA (Big/Small) - Infection Should be played with: - Slayer (3-9) - Team Slayer (4-16) - Capture the Flag (Teams of 6) The map includes all of the following: - A SkyWalk - A Curving Tunnel - 2 Very Detailed Houses - An Indian Hotel Sniper Base The Skywalk is located in the middle of the map (up in the air ). To get to the skywalk you must first take the elavator. The skywalk is then covered by fence walls. At the end of the skywalk, there is a platform where you can then easily get out of the skywalk. The skywalk is the length of the length of Foundry. WOAH!!!! Below the end of the skywalk is then the what I call "Snakes Ridge". Snakes Ridge is sort of a tunnel tower. At the bottem is 4 curved interlocked tunnels with an opening in the middle for the entrance. There are 2 sets of tunnels. At the end of each tunnel is a fence wall to block it off. On the outsides of both sets of tunnels are 2 steps (dumpsters) to get to the second part od snakes ridge. The second part is a bunker/Battlefields on each side. They consist of a couple of bunkers and a couple of turrets. There are 2 straight up boxes to serve as towers. On each side of "Frosty Acres" are 2 EXTREMELY detailed houses/manors/hotels/whatever you wanna call them. ---The Left House is the weaker 2 story house. It consist of a couple of walkways and a couple of bunkers. Its really nothing to much special. --- The Right house the stronger 3 Story house. - The first story is the bottem which you first enter. There it is very open and a couple of exits. - The second story is yet agian pretty much the same as the first story except that instead of an open battlefield with a complete floor, the second floor is 3 connected plateforms serving to play as an open battlefield. There are yet agian a couple of exits and entrances. Also in the top middleish of the second floor is a little bunker to keep those flesh eating zombies away. - The Third and final floor is where most of the sniping or air striking will occur. The are a couple of tower tops and a sniper baring and yet another open battlefield. The open battlefield is yet agian, a couple of bridges. At the very top middlish is the sniper baring. The Sniper baring is a box with of course a sniper and a fence wall blocking the direct exit. To the side of it is 2 places to stick your head out and pick off that pesky blue team. That is it for the detailed houses. Next to the left house is the indian reservation hotel. It is 3 floors. The first floor has a teepee shaped portal door that leads to the second floor or the third floor. The second floor is a batlle rifle shooting range. There is a wall that is down to your waist so that when your standing, your in the open. And when your crouching, your blocked off and safe. Crouch, Shoot,Crouch, Shoot,Crouch, Shoot,Crouch, Shoot,.The third floor is the sniper base. There are only window panels and a sniper to work with. As you first enter the third floor, to your left and right are the exits. That is it for the description. There are other so many secrets to unfold, but you'll have to play and download the map first. Overview 1 Overview 2 SkyWalk Snakes Ridge Download Here
ok, this map looks fine, but i noticed that you have posted it twice, one of them must be deleted or locked, please try not to do this again, as i'm sure it was a mistake. anyway, the snakes ridge looks great, but could i suggest that if you make a V2 that you turn the bridges upside down? they allow you to cross them much smoother and they look a bit better as well. it seems to be quite an advanced map, and it could become even better if you took the time to work on little details such as lining up walls and, in overview one, the fence wall covering the exit to the single open box could be straightened up which would greatly improvee the aesthetics. anyway, nice first post/map, and i hope to see more from you in the future.
I think it might of been some sort of glitch because Drainage, which was posted really close to the same time, was double posted.
cool thanks, I dont even know how i did it either, i think i might have press the button twice or somethin
