The pictures need to be embedded into the post in order for it to be up to standards. It is against the rules and you won't get nearly as many downloads.

    Edited by merge:

The first thing I noticed was the ceiling, haha. Its really distracting. If I were you I would just switch that to wall colosseums. If you make a good remake of the ridge around the top of the map, it would create aesthetics and also make it more realistic to foundry. Im sure you have enough money to do that. At the spawn, where the windows are, when you enter that room there should be like a block 2x4 towards the inside becuase the doorway is smaller than that, and there is a little piece like that that you can camp behind.

One thing I really liked about this map was how it was scaled down to Halo Reach's jumping and not to halo 3's jumping.

close but not quite lol. I made "foundry VR" which was my remake of this map. mine is almost perfect and at the very least the most accurate so far. if you want to improve it i would say at the very least fix the bases because those are definitely not right, and also i would add the windows on the one side of the map.

also could you plz explain how you thought it made since to put min-max players 1-16.

1 makes absolutely no since and 16 is definitely too many people. I think people really need to start putting more accurate min-max players. because when i search for a map that can support 1 player games i should only find either puzzles or obstacle courses...............not a foundry remake.

Quit bitching and besides you shouldn't say your map is almost perfect because you made it. Of course your going to think that. You might thinks its almost perfect and someone else might think that it sucks.

Is it impossible for a single person to play on this map? Is that against the rules? I don't think so. Also, 16 people can play on this. It'll be hectic, but it's possible. Anyways, the min/max only matters for maps that are competitive. Remakes are clearly not under that category.

Lol, remakes of competitive maps aren't competitive? Logic fail. And while it's possible to play by yourself, you aren't actually playing on it because all you're doing is running around the map doing nothing. I call that checking out a map. 2 ought to always be the minimum number of players unless, as stated, it is a puzzle or maze or other casual map.

Don't come in here just to back up your friend blindly.

I do agree though that the guy claiming his remake is near perfect and yadda yadda needs to back off. There are a thousand remakes of Lockout and Guardian- why can't there be a few Foundries? I looked at his version and I think this one captures the feel and mood of Foundry much better, despite claims of a few areas being off a bit.

    1. I don't know the person who posted this map. I happened to stumble across this remake and saw what was posted, so I decided to reply.

    2. Forge Remakes are not on the same level as true competitive maps. Nobody hopes that their remake will make it into MatchMaking, because they know it wont. The true competitive maps are those that are featured here on ForgeHub, or those chosen by Bungie/343 to be put in the MM rotation. In that respect, the amount of players specified on a remake can be set to whatever the creator wants. What does it matter anyway?

    3. You can check out a map with 2 people. Don't be ridiculous.

    1) No such thing as 1 player minumum. Look at every single map ever made by bungie or 343 and you will see that it is a number other than 1. Hell, any competitive multiplayer game follows the same rule.

2)The number represents the best amount of players that the map supports. You would never say Blood Gulch is 2-16 players. At the very least it is 6-16 players since a 1v1 or 2v2 is nonsensical. Other maps that are small like Cold Storage would be 2-8 b/c the map simply should not hold more players even though it can.

3)Foundry would be whatever it was set to in Halo 3 IIRC is 2-10 players as were most maps b/c of social playlists.

All that being said simply from the screenshots the ceiling should be replaced with 3-4 colessium walls instead of the multitude of stunt ramps which are not only distracting but add to framerate.
