Okay, lets face it. Foundry is a ugly map. There are thousands of maps that all look like a warehouse. That is kind of ridiculous. I am a decent forger, but I have ADD. It really limits me on how long I can work and I get very frustrated when objects don't line up good. I always move it just a little and everything topples over. Anyways my new idea is to make template for foundry. It will take time and I will be glad to help. I however lack the patients to do this. Certain objects that are somewhat simple can be used to cover the map. I think the easiest thing to start with would be double box's.
I'm confused about what you're trying to do ... ? Are you going to place scenery in foundry as a base to be worked off?
if you mean making canvas maps with stuff already put in to a basic shape it sounds good i too have trouble getting everything square and always go a little too far
