Foun-dry - For use with Multi-flag and Slayer. How original is that name? Lolz. Anyways, this is my sixth map here on Forgehub, and I hope that it is well received. I started designing this map with nothing more than an idea for a sniper centerpiece. And this is the product of two weeks of Forging and testing. Props to my ex-clan, Nucking Funny Central (NFC Homepage) for helping me test it. Now, the map itself is an Asymmetrical map, as you will see in the pics. And as many of you may say, it does have a bit of open space, but despite that, it will have you looking over your shoulder. aesthetics 7 IMO 8 i like the design of the map weapons i see that there is a sniper and a rocket just at that one base there is a bunch of power weapons like every single one that turret might be really powerful game play will maybe change when i play will get back to this maybe going to bed now play when i can the bubble shield hut whats the point of the fence wall on the floor just for looks ?
It's mainly because my geomerging failed, and the rim of the box was poking out. It was too small to really notice, but most people on here will probably go "ZOMG ****ing sloppy geo merges, ****ing n00b." Or maybe that's just in my head... And on the power weapon subject, the rocket as 0 spare clips, sniper has 1 spare, shotty has 0, mauler has 1, and the upper bridge on above the turret restricts the viewer from camping the defender's tunnel/ upper spawns.
I like it it's very good, the only thing that i have to say is that the sides look alittle open, but i haven't DL'd yet so i don't know how the gameplay will turn out. 4/5 from the pics
I know it's cliche, but it is too open. The map to me appears to be unfinished. Like you had gotten off to a good start, and that's it. I feel as if the center of the map is very concentrated and definitely the strongpoint, but the rest of the map aside from it was thrown in to fill space to finish the map in a hurry. My opinion is that if you were to go back, and and changes to the rest (both major and subtle) with the same determination you had when making the center, this would have much more potential.
i like this map ii see some really good interlocking and geomerging and looks clean also looks like u didnt try rushing things when forging which made i turned out great great work 5/5
i have D/L this and i am not that impressed. the sides are not even i mean they both have one way to get in the bases. The door stairway is way too much of a camp spot but i do like how u put the flag above the turret. P.S. Why does only one side have turret? Would be willing to download a V2. -------3.5/5
Mainly because one side has a few power weapons, a ghost and a fortified base, they don't have a turret. However, the reason there is only one way in and out is that it is more fair on CTF games.
Very nice map. Aesthetically beautiful and a display of expert's knowledge on advanced forge technique. Good job! I would love to see more carnage shots so I can see the way gameplay is affected by this map. 9.4/10
i like the map and have grown found of maps like these, but one problem, the rockets and turret are very near eachother, which can promote a powerful team or individual. overall a 4/5 i might add a warthog or ghost to have some more place to place transportation.
In the v2 (which I will be posting within the next two weeks) I have addressed many problems, this being one of them. I have moved the Rockets to the opposite base, and have placed Brute shots in then back areas, in miniature bases.
