People dont vote, and the contest has been extended until may 21st to give some extra time to make finishing touches.
I am remaking a map from Halo 2 that I don't think was properly balanced. Is it okay to submit one that is the same as the original and another one with a different (better balanced IMO) weapon layout? I've read all of the rules and I don't think I'm violating anything, but would like to know for sure.
Good questions actually..and yeah, you can submit two versions if you like, there isn't a specifically created a rule that disallows it, so I see no problem with it. It will however, count has two submissions (you are allowed 3 max).
Hey, who is judging (im guessing its 4 people) and how much time it will take for us to know the winner? If you guys are going to playtest each map, may I play too?
I love you! in a non-gay way but i still love you! I saw all the remakes in the thread before and they are amazing, most of my favorite maps were remade. it'd be nice if we actually had an organized remake group.. to make the maps that the contestants didn't make. Can't wait to see the final results.
Well once I knew it couldn't be in the contest I decided just to make it as accurate as possible I just wonder how it would stack up
Chrstybrnnnn sp I apologize but have you put up a date anywhere for when for the result of the contest can be expected? Or have you just given a ballpark like a week or something? I cant find anything about the date of results
It will take as long as it takes. There are less than 100 submissions, though, so I wouldn't think that it would take more than a month or so, especially with school letting out.
