Okay so I need to make a poster, a fairly basic poster, and my photoshop skills are very very limited. What I need help on is making a perfect cross or plus sign using the marquee tool, except I don't know how to find any sort of measuring tools or whatever. Could someone help me out? I've got access to Adobe Photoshop CS5 Here's my crude attempt.
You could just use a text with a + in it and make that a larger size to fit what you need. If you still need a measuring ruler, check under View > Rulers.
Little late but as well, you can go to View > Show > Grid. You can use that for an easier way to tell if your selections are equal.
