Forging video for noobs?

Yeah this would be good but there is forging 101 already i donno if someone would take the time. Would help some people tho

 

I think maybe a whole map would be hard to capture since they're often done over long stretches of time with a lot of breaks etc, not to mention the time taken to make a map that would display all of the techniques. IMO it would have to be at least 5-10 hours long to really fulfill this role and that would be unreasonable.

But I do think that video demonstrations, really in depth ones, are a great idea and I would have found this invaluable when I started. Maybe something more along the lines of a video or collection of videos for each technique. I know FH already have video tutorials on youtube but some more would be great, especially more foundry oriented ones. I agree they would have to be in depth, like showing multiple different scenarios for interlocking and floating etc, with a focus on how to use guides effectively and suchlike. I also think that a practical application of techniques would be better than just an explanation, maybe a video that shows how to build a large structure using many techniques and scenarios would be good.

Yeah i agree with this mabey we can get someone to make multiple videos of building small things like a sniper tower or a base or something so people can see what they want without watching the rest of the video.
