ok, it'll probally sound noobish but, take for example, on a map I see some double boxes and a stair piece, and the stair piece is turned upside down supporting a bridge piece. so how do you get the stair piece to stay up high WITHOUT stacking up to the spot and then having to go through the pain of leveling it out. so any help???
Hmm, my best guess is get your bridge in place and then set your surrounding boxes to not start. Leave your bridge to start. Then restart the round, set her up there and save/quit. Any body else have a good idea?
I know the interlocking, but not how to get the bridge up there by building up to it and then leveling it
When you spawn an object like a box it is always perfectly level. So if you spawn an immovable object, then use save and quit without pressing R ever to float it at the height you want, you've got a perfectly level floor for whatever you're building. Then just delete the supporting stuff when your stairs/bridge has settled flat.
