This is a map I made a few days ago based on a modded map made by Lord Zedd, allowing me to use 512 natural structures. I wanted a forest map for a while so I made one. I believe the map is well balanced and allows for many types of battles to take place simultaneously. The map consists of a somewhat dense forest with a few small human structures inside it, as well as many natural rocky formations. The forest protects players from vehicles battling outside its area, and even protects from the banshee. Vehicles can ride around the entire forest in circles, but a major area is set for the vehicle battles, as well as some strong points where on-foot Spartans can shelter themselves and even try to bring the vehicles down with mounted turrets and barricade protections. Here is a link of pictures in my fileshare, I only tested the map with 2 of my friends, but I believe that with 8 or 10 players the map would be very fun to play in. File Share Halo Official Site
Hate to break it to you, but in order to properly post on Forgehub you need to include some pictures along with your submission. But more importantly, modded maps/overload maps are not allowed to be posted on Forgehub. A helpful tip: Only post content that qualifies to be put into matchmaking. (Would there be a modded map in matchmaking? I wouldn't think so.)
Thanks, I didnt know I was in the wrong place. I just looked for a place to get feedback on the map. I tried putting in pictures but they were just too big and took all the place.
No pictures, no interest. You can't expect people to go to your File Share just to view pictures of your map. Embed the images in your map post if you want your map to get any sliver of attention.
OP, if you're looking for map feedback I've started up a feedback thread over on waypoint. SilentA98's Feedback Thread. If you want your map tested before posting it here, feel free to go there. I can't personally test maps at the moment as my Halo 4 disc has died, but a user named A Virtual Duck is still watching out for maps that are getting posted. If need be, send him a message and he'll likely get back to you sooner than if you simply posted.
