I'm not a certified zoologist, but I just recently spotted some forge birds available on my fileshare. Here is the next logical step. A map or two that makes use of them. I've found that though forge offers editing for several gametypes on one savable map, doing so taxes the item count running in the background across game types. So, I'm in the habit of saving and editing each map with its gametype counterpart, which seems to allow me to really max out the budget and item count, if necessary. The default extraction variant here will run on the Flock Fort EXT map variant. The other map variant runs most of the default slayer gametypes, Flock Fort SLR. These will be released after the right amount of testing.

More generally, the central structure of the map functions as a theoretical wall of defense. It bridges the large gap between cliff sides on one side of Ravine's borders. Here is a bird's eye view, literally, of this particular map.

Behind the lines of defense, it looks a little something like this.

When was the last time you held a structure with another Mantis next to you?

    Flock Fort EXT:
This map variant runs the default extraction gametype. There are 6 extraction sites located on different points of the defense structure, all only available for extraction by the attacking team. The attacking team starts on the flock, grabs jet packs and weapons, and moves between birds by means of teleporters situated underneath their crest feathers. They can traverse the gap between the flock and the wall with their jet packs and a trait zone that gives them unlimited abilities. This trait zone only covers the gap. The attacking team must extract all of the sites on the wall to win, and the defending team must hold out for the length of the round to win.

    Flock Fort SLR:
This map variant runs all of the default slayer gametypes, with the exception of Regicide and Infinity Rumble. It is meant for 2-Team Slayer. The trait zone between the flock and the wall has been moved to disallow traversing the gap by the attacking team, but it has been resized to allow the attacking team to use their jet packs to fly between birds and use a fairly large vertical and horizontal space.
