i recently discovered that by using tin cups we can float objects without save and quitting. this is especially useful for racetracks.

    Method

    1. balance a double wall on your existing track at the angle you want the next part

    2. stack 3 tin cups on top of this

    3. set the object to spawn at start no (if you want to interlock) and start new round

    4. put your new object beneath the tin cup and wall. it should get pulled up

    5. line everything up how you want it and delete the tin cups and guide wall

    6. admire your perfect float (and a clean interlock)

when i can i will add pics

Well some people, like me, had never seen the older one so this is very helpful for me. I, being a racetrack maker, will find this very useful if it does indeed work and it is accurate. Thanks.
