I have been working on an infection gametype which solves the problem of scoring which has always been inherently flawed. I'm currently thinking of a name. If you have suggestions that would be nice.
If you let us know how you intend to adjust the scoring mechanics to infection that would be nice. And that's the only thing you would fix with the gametype?
I have been working on the scoring in which I use haven scoring so that people score a point every second they are alive. Human kills zombie-5pts. Zombie kills human-15 points. Haven is placed so it is over the entire map. There are two versions of the game type, one with the classic shotgun pistol combo with no weapons on the map, and the other gametype is SMG starts with weapons on map. The point of this gametype is to reward humans for staying alive rather than just getting kills.
How bout referencing the staying alive aspect of the game: Staying Alive Undying <--I like the double meaning Living Dead The Living and the Dead Remain Survive Outlive Outlast My favorite is Outlast.
