What's are the opinions around here for FNAF? Been keeping up with is from the begining, great story and art, but i feel the gameplay has much to be improved upon.
Bruh have you even seen Sister Location? They changed (and improved) the gameplay a lot. Also the story makes more sense.
I saw a little bit, which promted me to make this thread. Cam't say i'm too impressed after watching night 1&2 but i'll wait tell i see the whole thing
I don't really like the series, but for some reason I really like sister location. All the easter eggs and extra things added in really make the game. Plus the humor in it is an upside
I have to say they stepped it up narrative wise, and yeah the humor lol. But each of the mini games are drawn out and seem kind of boring. I like the fast paced task manager style of gameplay in all the previous games. If Scott could splice the two, have various sections with it's own style of play like fnafsl, and keep the hectic pace of the previous games i think it would be perfect.
Great series, intriguing and interesting storyline, coupled with lots and lots of deep hidden lore. The theories and scientific take on the afterlife is all something i enjoy thoroughly.
Imma spoil this for you but... Spoiler One of the easter eggs lets you play in a certain area like the classic games. Of course you have to play through almost all the game to get to that point.
/\ Play or watch gameplay of sister location *markiplier best fnaf player imo* before making conclusions.
Scott Cawthon is a humble man, and while one may argue he's just doing it for the money, FNAF isn't nearly as cancerous as call of duty. No micro-transactions, sturdy game play, priced fairly, and a creator who did it to spite his critics.
What annoys me, a lot like Minecraft, is the fanbase. I'm incredibly annoyed that kids think that these games are "scary". ****, I wasn't even really scared by the Outlast 2 demo, and that **** had a scene where a bloody devil woman slams an axe straight into your defenseless body. Now explain to me how an animated bear popping onto your screen every once in a while is scary. All in all, the main fan base is children, or YouTubers looking to make a quick buck. While I will admit that I admire the deep background story that is tried to be conveyed, and these 'secret' stories about the background that you have to find on a newspaper that appears on a wall about once per hour, however gameplay, actual scariness, and even the aesthetic design are something I ultimately dislike, and therefore don't care about.
Dude are you kidding, lmao, that guy probably makes jack crap off of his games. Like Alex said most of the games fanbase is kids who only watch youtubers play it... And then they don't have yo buy it! The older kids probably torrent it. The youtubers are making more money than scott off his games i'm sure! You have to respect the guy for that. Ironicly enough he is a christian, i think that's where his generosity and humble virtures come from. If you know his back story it's actualy pretty funny, he used to make silly little christian themed games that never got any attention, in fact they would make fun of his art style saying they look like "animitronics" Hahahahahahahaha He almost quit making games after that but then decided to work with his critisism. After having a nightmare of animatronic dolls stalking him in his house or somthing
It depends on what you claim is "scary." There are a lot of jump scares in fnaf, especially when you may not expect them. Things like these scare me momentarily, even though I'm an adult. What I really like is being creeped out though. Those games or movies that just build tension over time and make you really think about the situation, games and movies that may leave you frightened even when the game or movie is over with. Of course I already watched that all the way through. That's where I'm getting a lot of my info from. I didn't just come to these conclusions myself.
There are certain mini games through the serious where i actualy think take the normaly boring jump scares to another level. For example hiding under the desk from baby, in order to prevent the jump scare(dieing) you have to pull back the pice of cover. Forcing you to pay attention to the center of the screen. This creates tention as you can expect a jump scare any second all the while being forced to keep eye contact on the screen.
Plus the creepy eye that looks randomly through the holes in the desk. That's one of the best parts of Sister Location imo
