First in a while

Oh god girl where have you been? Haven't seen you in so long D:.

The last two are nice, though the text on the 3rd one I don't really like much but I would say text never was a strong suit I guess. Like I said though the last one I like the most of out then, even if the larger piece has good effects on it, just the sharpen on him is a bit to much.

 

1st, HOLY ****, IT'S ICE.

Second, these are looking good, and I've always loved your style. You kind of went over board with the blurring and brightness on a few of them though, but that could probably just be chalked up to getting back into the swing of things, and your style.

Also, I hate that signature I made for you years ago, I used to be so bad -.-

I fail to see where that would matter when you are posting in a public forum.all I said was a little joke and that I liked these.
(sorry if I am wrong) but you seem to on a defensive against me?
I dont feel that was necessary as I did not say anything bad or hateful.

Could I ask to see the original images for the first and last ones? That cat looks familiar but I can't place where I think I saw it, and the last one is the best of the bunch.

 

Nice job on all of these, but the 2nd one really caught my eye, whatd you use to make those cloud things swirling around him?

Welcome back! The first signature with the cat isn't as bad as you think it is. I like the lighting on the focal, however I think the right side is too darkened, there isn't enough transition between the light and dark side of the signature. There is just something about the cat's eyes and expression that catches my attention, but I can't quite tell what it is, but I like it. It's the first time I ever felt a mood/emotion from a signature, I would just fix up the lighting.

You are right about the LP, it is too blurred, and the blurring has been done in the wrong places; doesn't help with the depth. The Tie, can, and hand area seems to be over-sharpened, but definitely feeling the smoke effects.

I don't like the font, the gradient, or the style of the text in the third signature. It's too bulky and over the focal that I can't continue to critique this signature. I do love the colors that are used in the signature itself, though.

The next signature has a lack of depth, can't really tell what I am looking at.

The last signature is awesome, however I would darken the focal just a tiny bit. The C4D and effects used around him are a great addition, not overdone, and actually add to the signature; they serve a purpose to be there, not just because "they're cool."

I never know what the hell is going on in sigs so I won't comment on those, but the big one looks cool. The nitpicky issues I have with it:

- The ethereal smoke stuff (I'll just call it smoke) that surrounds him is pretty solid except where it overlaps with his right leg. It looks very flat and I immediately thought it looked like someone put an overlay of something completely different on top of the image of the dude instead of it being one complete piece.

- Similarly, though to a lesser degree, I would've liked to see more definition in his elbow since the smoke seems uncharacteristically thick. While it is true that smoke can be that thick and can definitely obscure vision completely, it usually does so in layers, I guess. Like whenever there's really bad fog/smoke, there's always a thin layer everywhere, then thicker, impenetrable layers of it here and there. Since you don't have that thin layer around, it makes me think more of clouds (since from a distance they seem to be complete solid masses that aren't interdependent with that thin layer between them, unless it's overcast).

That's all a long way of saying that because you didn't have a thin layer of smoke pervasive throughout, instead of thinking of smoke, I thought of clouds, which made me want to see more definition in his elbow.

- His right foot just looks weird. I realize it's the shadow blending in with his black shoe, but it looks off.

Think that's it.

 

I like the girl in the 3rd pic instantly made me think of taylor swift in the songs clip of "You belong with me" (Before you say anything I had to google it so I'm not that gay.) physical looks are similar imo could even been a random taylor image and the effects give her the whole girl next door feeling.
