Actually, it's quite plausible. What if i played through campaign on easy, therefore avoiding the mission cheevos, then didn't get more than 10 dmr/magnum/needle kills in one level. Then once i got to the start of the last level, i assassinated the elite and the got the achievement. Truthfully, it wasn't my first, but with proper planning it is actually quite feasible.
Even if you somehow managed to not get : - I Didn't Train to Be a Pilot - A Spoonful of Blamite - I See You Favor a .45 - An Elegant Weapon… You're gonna screw up at least once and get : - That's a Knife ... while trying to get If They Came to Hear Me Beg.
I have been graphing these results because I feel like it. When it gets to page 5 Ill post the graph. Added after 1: Actually I don't think achievements register on easy difficulty. Therefor the guy is right. But I still highly doubt you'd be bothered to do that.
I saw a guy who had apparently gotten "A monument to all your sins" as his first achievement.... Ermmmmm fail at modding much?
If done on Co-op, "I DIdn't Train to Be a Pilot" could be taken care of by my partner. And i wonder which one you would get first if you assassinated the elite on the first try. Would you consider getting two simultaneously the same as earning one of them first? Well if that's the case, this just got a whole lot easier. I'd play through the first 9 levels on easy, therefore nullifying any chance of earning an achievement. Then once I got to level ten, I'd save and quit, change it to normal difficulty and then assassinate the elite. As far as I know, it would be possible to get it before any other achievement.
Yes, but in the end THAT NEVER HAPPENED! /end how to get 'if they came to hear me beg' achievement first discussion.
Actually, it appears you CAN earn achievements on easy (see "Swap Meet") Also, I was in fact bothered to do this. As you can see, I made it to the last level without getting any achievement other than "Swap Meet", which was done on purpose just to see if it was possible. However, I didn't manage to get "If They Came to Hear Me Beg" on the first try which would make it the first achievement I got. But since this achievement has been known to be somewhat glitchy due to the fact that the game has difficulty registering whether or not a fall is fatal because of sprinting, in can be argued that the only reason why it wasn't the first achievement I got was because of issues with the game instead of human error. (All of the stats you see were on done on a second account this morning)
I got, An Elegant Weapon first, I think in gruntpocalpyse which I tried out for fun when I first popped in the disc, and I'm just about to finish of 1000 GS with Make it Rain
You did that just to prove us something not even that important....lifeless... But srsly thats pretty awesome!
It was more seeing if it was possible than to prove it to you, and it only took 3 1/2 hours, so not really lifeless. I think one of the best parts of sandbox games like halo is to see how far you can push the limits and what kinds of things you can do that the developer never even imagined. (Take halo 3 forge for example). You just have to make your own fun sometimes. Also, i just read a guide that supposedly helps you get ITCTHMB on the first try, so if I reallyyyy had no life I'd go back and try it. But just proving this is good enough for me.
