okay so a few of my friends are final fantasy fans (4 to be exact) now they have all said that the 360 version of the game will have a diferent combat system to the PS3 they actualy said its going retro..instead of the tweaked FF12 battle system they will be using for FF13 on the ps3 they will be using a turn based system like the one in final fantasy x for the 360 version.. aparently the 360 wont be able to handle the system they are using for the ps3 so its getting toned down dramaticaly to turn based..but if the ps2 can handle ff12's system wich wasnt turn based why cant the 360? now i dunno if this is true or just a word of mouth thing thats spread around my friends as i cant find much info.i was wondering if you guys here can clarify and i do hope its all lies
It doesn't honestly make much sense, unless there were some sort of retarded graphical scenes and a **** ton of quick loading to be done during battles. It would be amazing if this was true, because I hate what XIII is becoming, and I have absolutely no idea why they haven't figured out we all want oldschool FF back. Though I feel there is probably more rumor than truth to this, as this would be an epic blow to PS3 fanboys, since their "far superior" system would be deemed "too good" for the superior battle system
it would be a nice touch to have some of the classic final fantasy shine through but i think square enix want the franchise to move with the times..meaning they know the standard turn based system has been done over n over. i didnt like 12's combat system but am interested to see what they have done for 13..i love the old classic turn based wich is why i loved lost odyssey so much but i realy want to see a more action packed game wich is y i hope they dont change it
no i hope they give you a choice or something because i like the old system alot more than the new system it does like like a mixy between games like x,vii, and the other old ones mixed with xii i just hope they do it right unlike xii
