fictional storylines

    do u think that adding a storyline to ur map is a good way to advertise ur map, or does it just add extra reading that ppl dont really want to see?

    well ppl dont have to read it so imo it isnt anything but a plus

    lol yea...im working out a storyline to link 3 maps, it takes up 2 paragraphs per map so it's kinda alot, but yea i guess u dont have to read it so f it lol i'm doing it

    If the story is coherent, intelligent, logical, and fits in the Halo/game storyline, then yes, it's probably attractive. However, keep in mind that the map also has to look good.

    Its better to focus on making a neat, organised thread. Include some well sized screenshots, add a neat title, organise your information, and maybe add a video. That is more important than a storyline,

    I try to add a story to every map I make. Though it won't do anything besides add background. As said, you still need a great map, name and organized thread. Yesh people won't always read it, there loss. Nothing changes except those who do get a little something extra. It also shows creativity IMO...
