I'd have to say Avalanche is my favorite, because there's some terrain to work with, and you have enough objects to make neat little 1v1 maps out of almost everywhere. It's much more versatile than Sandbox in coming up with original settings, because it's not just a blank slate. Sometimes more is more, ya know? Anyways, if i was going to do a list of five in order, I'd do the following... 1) Avalanche 2) Sandbox 3) Foundry 4) Standoff 5) Blackout What would your list in order be?
1. Sandbox 2. Longshore 3. Foundry 4. Avalanche 5. Blackout Sorry, I just don't usually forge on Avvy that much... It's good for making ships though.
I would say Foundry is my favorite because of the versatility in movable and immovable objects, but the sheer fact is that it doesn't have near as much room and resources to work with so: 1.Sandbox 2.Foundry 3.Ghost Town - that's a new one! 4.Avalanche 5.Longshore
Sandbox, for it's size and range of immoveable objects. Longshore, for floaty objects and stuff. Foundry, for it's cool metal-y theme and it's sentimental position in my heart after Sandbox was released. Avalanche, for it's snowy-ness, cool objects, and space. Standoff, for the variety of creativity it can be used for, despite lack of immoveable objects.
For actually trying to forge a map I just choose whatever it fits best on, preferably not sandbox or foundry. For recreational forging I prefer Foundry because the limited objects challenge even the best forgers.
