So ive been working on this for about 2 days, just trying to get the timings and stuff down, and its not completely done but this is just like a rough draft or a prewrite of the completed version. So any advice would be appreciated, im thinking of adding a some piano or a nice synth to just fill in the background but i dont know, also it gets alittle repetitive, ill try to fix that, so just tell me how you like it, BTW this is a hip-hop/rap instrumental, not meant to be overly complex, and i made it entirely with headphones on, so it has alot of bass if you have speakers or good headphones. I feel like it needs someone wrapping over the top, because on its own yes it is a little repetitive. The kick sound nice but the snare needs a bit more punch. Also your sub bass is kinda weak, it doesn't reverberate like it should. Another thing is change up the tune so its not the same chords over and over again. Stick to flow of your song but mix up the note progression. Anyway, keep working on it. Sounding good.
