Fallout (Landfall Variant) Created by oVR(Overkill VR) and Chef Linguini This map came about same day as the Majestic Map pack was released. Chef and I hopped into a session and were looking at how we could make the map balanced and playable for 4v4. I really like the interior so started closing it out from the rest of the map so we decided to make a 2v2 variant before tackling a 4v4 version. 10 hours later we had the first build set up and Bravo joined us to test it. Since Team Doubles was in dire need of a 2v2 variant of Landfall to replace the default version which is way too big, we were basically "contracted" to finish working on the map. First impression from Bravo was that he loved it and that it played like Chillout which was exactly what we were going for hence the name "Fallout". A few days later, and after many alterations, we had the first public release. All though there was a FALLING OUT(get it?) between Chef and I, the map was never officially published but the Unity guys used the latest build for their 2v2 tourney. Apparently the map got the attention of AGL and I was informed that it was being streamed at AGL 9 so it was time to finally get the map published and make sure to get due recognition for the map. As far as I know, neither me nor Chef were approached about the map and in any event, both authors should have been informed about it. Anyways, after sitting on it for 5 months, here it is:
You must have a gameplay video you can post for this? While I haven't played on it myself, I've watched at least a few gameplays on it and it's definitely the best downsized version of Landfall I've seen. It seems to play 2v2 really, really well.
