    Hello forgehub, today I am going to post preview my new map Facility.
    Facility is my second real attempt at making a good flowing BTB map.
    My main inspiration for making this map was the firefight map unearthed, I have always felt that the map would be great for competitive gameplay so oneday i decided i would make the map. this map has been through many small and large changes to layout and weapons/vehicles. So far am glad to say that this map came out better than i had expected.

    My friend BlackStarRulz has been nice enough to put a video of some gameplay footage of the map on his youtube channel for this map preview(please sub to his channel by the way) here is the video.

    Ah yes this one I had SOO much fun playing this but the map like any map could use some work.i suggest for one to remove the tank completely and fill in that area.
    My reasoning for removing the tank is mainly because where the tank spawns is right near a main "hub" for infantry players.if they are on top you cannot get a good angle on them so you have to pray that nobody is waiting for you to drive under just to hijack you.
    During the game I noticed in ctf AND slayer there was a cluster**** of reds in the blue base at all times.it wasn't untill I watched the vid and was seeing it from a reds perspective that they were actually spawning on our side.i suggest that you fix the spawning and get help from a reliable person with spawning. The bases do not offer enough cover.there are two objects to hide behind.this is particularly annoying in the game of CTF we played.now I suggest you put a list of how many of each weapon is on this map just so we can get a feel of weapon balance. I know there were rockets in the middle and a GL on the side opposite tank spawn.i think a few areas could use more cover on ground level and I understand you did that for the tank but if you were to remove the tank you could put more cover.i think you should have the teams each with one warthog and one ghost.this map looks like it needs a sniper rifle.you don't want to put it on the (just going to call the building on tank side the construction building)because that's the highest area of the map.if you put in a sniper I reccomend putting the sniper on GL spawn and GL in the construction building.
    These are just some things that I noticed from only two games.i feel like this map was fun but it could be great!
    Great job bullets.

    If you have the money the map could use some theme aesthetics I can help,aesthetics are my thing.

    on my DS atm so i cant watch the vid :( will watch later. interesting idea, cos some firefight remakes are epic. ive seen one of ?tayari plaza?
    tht was amazing. i have to check this out.

    thanks for the comments guys. i have taken out the tank area now and fixed the spawning(i think i need to test more to make sure). i had to take out the tank area because if you went down there you would have had massive FR lag.

    Ok definantly invite me to testing I had so much fun and seeing as I was the only one to even find the tank it wasn't useful anyway.with fixed spawning this should be much better.how much money do you have because your bases are almost nonexistent and you need SOMETHING to house the flag.red team had a major advantage in that area.i can help make some sweet bases.and aesthetics if you got the budget left.

    okay ive got a few things about to say about this map, one thing is........ HOW DID YOU NOT TELL ME ABOUT IT, it looks great.
    okay to the next thing 'WORST INTO EVER'.......... WOT A BRILLIANT LINE IN THE VIDEO, i dunno if you intended it to or not but it was so comedic how you guys said it, it almost sounded faded when you said it, it was brilliant.
    the map looks as if it plays realy well, realy balanced and as if you need to realy keep your wits about you sort of gameplay.
    i would love to play a couple of games on here with you.
    oh and also, who ever you got to film this for you can you get them to film mine :D
    looks great :)

    i think i have around 800 budget left. but if i add anything else to the map the FR lag will terrible, but i guess we could do something.

    Ya the map was so much fun.your on my friends list righ robster? I don't remember.but yes you have to pay attention to what's going on at all times or the other team will tear you a new ass hole.the game was real close and we both had the same skill levels so it was balanced and it will be better without the tank.more fun than I've had since community night for the FFC this felt so intense it's something like what you SHOULD find in matchmaking but instead we get cragmire.

    im gonna ahve to play this, and i think i am waterfull im not to sure, anyway bullet when i do the testing for Pipe-Line and a couple of other maps could we play this map??

    I problem.but I feel the map needs a less cliche name it DOSENT stand out at all.

    okay ive just seen this map and all i can say is.... WOW!!!
    it looks amazing and is definatly matchmaking material although i cant realy judge yet until ive played it :) but the layout of everything like the ramps and bridges and indoor and out layout to the weapon and vehicle placemtns are just perfect, cant wait to play this.

    i cant right now mate :/ but i might be able to later depeding what time you are able to get online of course :p

    actualy scrap tha get a game together im just about to go on :p i cant resisist ill do work later :p

    Well how about we get more testing done on this tomorrow?
    Maybe you could bring blackstarrulz to discuss a video for our new map with armidillo.
    Or do you want to work on that map.dont think we've decided on a name yet but we were discussing
    "lucid chasm" based off of two maps this one was slightly inspired by one being the pit(chasm) and don't remember the first one.
