Before I go any further, this IS a remake, and you get one internet for guessing which map it's based off of. ______________________________________________________ I tried to make an almost exact replica of a certain Halo Combat Evolved map, which I'm not sure if it was a PC exclusive map or not, because it has a flamethrower in it. The weapons are where they're supposed to be, although I did change it somewhat. The shotguns have only one spare magazine, as opposed to the two in the original map, the flamethrowers have been switched for grenade launchers with two extra grenades each, and there are only two frags instead of four. I also didn't include one(two) of the pit(s), the longer ones, for item limitations, although I did work around it in other places. Anyway, the only thing left is the pictures: ^^****in sweet ladder system IMO __________________________________________________________________ I'm almost done with it, all I need is some final gametype setupingness and final playtesting.
+1 internet for Scobra, but with taxes as high as they are today, that comes out as a whopping 0 internets. Anyway, feedback is encouraged.
Looks great. I remember there being a remake on... sandbox was it? that looked just like this. Just sayin'... I'm meh when it comes to the idea of remakes... but this one is looking pretty good judging from the pictures. And not everyone's gonna give feedback mainly cuz Reach only came out a week and a 1/2 ago... So please don't bump
I'm not a big fan of remakes, but I think that this looks quite good so far. Your ladder system seams new and original, and I fricken love it! The rest of the map looks a little bit boring, but because it's a remake you can't do much else. It looks like its almost done, so I'll check it out when it's posted.
