Expedition is a invasion map themed an abandoned mine the UNSC are using to store important data the covenant need. The use of no vehicles and a super fun slide (lol) gives the map unique gameplay.

The long sight lines you would see in most invasion maps are present in the first phase, and the 1st phase is the entrance to the mine.Elites need to gain ground on the spartans so they can make them retreat into the mine.[IMG]

The second phase offers some very different gameplay, as the defending spartans are attacked from a very large rock slide.[IMG] You might view it as chaotic, or intense. Elites carry the bomb to the gate control, and destroy it causing the gate to open up.

The third phase gives players more of that chaotic feel, even when you could be sniping someone or shooting them with a shot gun. Elites rush across the suprisingly open mine and retrieve the precious data. [IMG]

All in all this map is a great map,I had a lot of fun making and play-testing it. I hope you download it!

    You need pictures. ;)
    Welcome to ForgeHub, lol

UPDATE: Now that I see the pictures, I remember this map! And I remember you! I believe you were in a lobby with me and aDamnCivilian or so, I think. Not entirely sure. Either way, this map was fun, but the second phase was really difficult because all the action focussed on the landslide and the elites were pretty much trapped. Did you change anything with that?
I'd love to check out this map again to see how it plays now.

By the way, I would add more pictures to explain in detail how the map progresses. Although I already know after playing this map in the past, I'm sure anyone new to the map won't be able to tell what it looks like and/or plays like from these 3 pictures only. So it's probably better to add at least around 10 more pictures, with both overviews and gameplay screenshots.
(I know it's difficult to do since there's no Recent screenshots section on halo.xbox.com, but believe me.. it's worth it.)
