I love maps with amazing Geo-Merging because I can never seem to do it...ohh well then. Nice map anyway!
I love maps like this, it has plenty of cover and interocking is perfect. I like the use of barriers it gets rid of the usual grey/green colour you get on foundry
Me too, but even then, i wish foundry had more astechis things, like other old maps like chairs, computers, etc that type of stuff
Yeah, I really like astechis too.. but what I'm really interested in is good aesthetics. I mean, I agree that Foundry is great and all. This map looks much more interesting than the default, even if the gameplay lacks a little. But anyway, I want to able to make map that looks as good as Ghost Town with the versatility of Foundry and 4x the size. As for now, I'll just spend my time playing awesome games on Eviscerate until Bungie meets my demands...
omg! feature, feature, feature, disco dance, dodoodoodo dunuh dunu dun! major congratz man It definately deserves it!
The Review Hub Map Name: Eviscerate Author: BL00D F1R3 Reviewed By: E93 (GT: Eduardo Dubs) Enjoyment: 7/10 Not all that you'd expect of a featured map fits like a glove. Eviscerate is all and all a good map, but not nearly as good as some past featured ones. Now that that's out of the way; the enjoyment overall was okay. No one was too jumpy about wanting to play this again, but no one really wanted the game to be over. Balance: 7/10 All and all balanced. The only thing that is really irritating, is that for the map being a bit small, and the spawn placements not havig been put that well, sometimes you spawn and die instantly without having a chance to defend yourself because the opponent had a rocket, or snipes. Durability: 6.5/10 Breaking the map will be hard to do, but not completely impossible. In this category what redally lacks though is the correct placing of spawn areas, and spawn points. You will often find yourself being spawn camped, or spawning far, far away from the objective, respectively, in objective games. I do not reccommend this for any Objective gametypes, such as KotH, Assault, or CtF. There is always only one objective, and for the map being way to small, it looses all the ''fun-ness''. Aesthetics: 9/10 The aesthetics are pretty neat. The middle thing is pretty sweet, and every single piece on the map is well designed, but it doesn't give you anything to stare at for too long. It gets simple in your eyes very quickly. Originality: 8.5/10 I like the square thing in the middle. That's pretty original. I've seen many types of elevators like the one you put on the side. Eviscerate's doesn't work really well though. The layout itself of the map is pretty goo. I'd mistake it for a real map, if I was new to Halo. Overall score (Average of the above): 7.6/10 Nothing that impressing to see here. You will enjoy this map for some time, but after a while, it'll start getting really repetitive. Try not playing this with Objective Games. Won't be as good as regular slayer. There isn't really any way of fixing the defect with the Objective games, for there isn't even enough space. KotH could be improved a bit, and what really needs some changes are the spawn related issues.
After the feature I fixxed the lift and all spawn and weapon related problems. Ill be updating the link very soon.
