Does anyone here have a story or two to share about the Xbox enforcement team? https://enforcement.xbox.com/United/Learn/FAQ I keep hearing stories of people getting there accounts perma-banned, and as a result losing all of there paid games, subscription benifits, achievments, seniority, etc. And in some exceptional reports, without warning or notice. Especialy lately in the Debate club, people are being reported to xbox like crazy and having there accounts at risk just for posting about controvercial topics, and 3 cases of perma bans. Just disagreeing with someone can result in a report.
A month ago I got two-week banned for uploading a "violent" screenshot as thumbnail containing pre-designed Halo logos (skull and assault gametype logos) and I wasn't able to report it. That's not a fair treatment to players.
I tend to send some messages that I'm not proud of to people who can suck my **** when playing black ops 3, and I get social-banned every time it happens. My last ban was a 2 week, so now I'm just refraining from messaging anyone on xbox But most of the time the messages I send aren't even ban worthy, but they do include some swear words. I think that the system automatically looks to see if you swore, and chat bans you for that. I find that to be incredibly bullshit, since everyone swears. Xbox enforcement is actually a joke, and I'm hoping it gets revamped or removed.
Uh how about you just don't message people? --- Double Post Merged, Mar 19, 2017 --- And no, not everybody swears. And even though the game you may be playing is rated M, it's inevitable that much younger audiences will be playing with you on those games. You have no idea if the person you're messaging is male or female, young or old. Microsoft, as a business, needs to cater to their entire market, which means doing their best to keep it PG. Just don't be a **** online, it's not hard.
