^^^^ Click the pic to download I: introduction :I After a couple days of watching my Propulsion thread, I saw how the community reacted: they loved it. I decided to then make another Conquest map. Seeing some crude and pathetic attemts at an Epitath Conquest, I made it a goal to make a good Conquest map on Epitath; to bring it out of the Conquest slump its been in for so long. So yes, this map is on Epitath. You wont see any awesome merges, or and interlocks. I used what was available to me including teleporters, crates, and barriers for the most part. II: onto the map :II Eurpathy uses much of the outer walkways. Involving many twists and turns unlike my last Conquest map, it has 7 territories. The center territory is in front of one of the huge grav. lifts, the one that takes you to the middle of the map. Another note is that if you look at Epitath there are shield doors, and these doors would have made it unfair for one of the teams, so I scavenged for a canvas of Epilogue and took that, so there are no shield doors, its not a mod, it Epilogue. After my first testing session, I met the creator of Conquest, and he helped me with lots of stuff. So after taking much of his advise I redid spawns and weapons, well really tweaked them. Now onto pictures. THIS MAP IS INTENDED FOR CONQUEST:HG. ITS A VARIENT MADE BY EVAN12075 WITH HIGH GRAVITY. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD. To note: This made can be played with regular conquest, however, it can be broken with that gametype. Dont try and break the map, as it probably is possible. The barriers are there for a strict guideline, so respect that. This is an overview of one side. It is most of the path. The same pic on the bright side. The dark side's next turn. I like the route you chose for the conquest game variant. But i would make better use of the teleporters to hold down your objects. The weapon placement is okay. I would widen up the middle area and block the lifts for your v2. Overall, nice map! 3.5/5
ahh, I see you had a little side project that I never got to test. I love how there's so many conquest maps coming out and most of them are actually on Pre-DLC maps. It's actually a refreshing change. I was thinking about doing one on Epitaph, but I couldn't figure out how I could get it to work. I'll download and play a few games and tell you how it goes. Oh! I know this map! Yeah, I played Conquest for the first time ever this past TGIF and this was the map I played on! It was a lot of fun. I guess I can't compare this map to other Conquest maps since I've never played on them , but I can say that this map made me want to keep playing Conquest. That's a good indicator, right? I also liked the weapon selection. If I remember correctly, I don't think I got killed by a shotgun, which is great, considering that Shotgun-whoring could become a serious problem in a Conquest map. So yeah. I liked it. (N33ds m0Ar 1n7erL0cks!! 2/5!)
Had fun testing this with you. It's as good as a conquest map will ever get on Epitaph and it was a very fun test session. Did you fix the place at the beginning where the one kid broke out? And do you know if you can get out with regular conquest? Well great map and I applaud you for making an awesome map on a not so awesome forging level. Can't wait to see Meanders (I think it's called) which was even more fun than this.
yep this was a good map. conquest was extremely fun and never was it the tiresome push and pull of some conquest maps. the weapon choice is good, and i especially like the spot that was chosen for conquest, wonderful job. hope to see more
