Escalation Creator: Dunking Dave Players: 4- 10 Alright, so I'm back, I have no idea why I haven't posted this map that I left a post on Colossal Mounds way back then. Anyways, lets get this straight. iToasted is was my old gamertag, Dunking Dave is my present one. It actually was my first gamertag but I switched if from Dunking Dave > iToasted > Raving Clown > Dunking Dave. Escalation is a map that I started apparently in 2008. I am finally sending it in today. Even today, I found some mistakes on it and have fixed it. I have interlocked most of the map, and I have geo-merged various boxes, you can see most of this in the center of the map. My proudest part of this map I completed was the Crane and the center. So, Escalation takes place on Foundry, and the reason I chose foundry was 1) This was before mythic, 2) Even if mythic was out, foundry was a good choice 3) I find Foundry is better then Sandbox, and much as Sandbox is larger with more budget and items, I prefer the scenery in foundry. This map is a multi- layered map. There is the: Ground level: Where most, of the action and fights will occur. Obviously not one of the safest areas to fight in because you can get fired at from any direction, grenades are key here, and you get killed from above. Middle level: Where the bases which are symmetrical, are and other areas near the middle. The bases have a good amount of cover to fire down at your enemies. Top level: Where the crane is able to walk on. Take the ladder on up and fire some 4 shot kills on your foes. There are a few walk paths located right underneith the crane. Weapons: x6 Battle Rifles x2 Shotguns x2 Sniper Rifles x1 Brute shot x3 Carbines Equipment: x4 Plasma Grenades x1 Regenerater Gametype: This map is just for objective and shoot 'em up gametypes. No infection I believe. I wanted to take on a more competive map and I believe I did that here. Pictures: What most of you, were waiting for. As of now, I am already in the works of a new map, and will be posting it soon. And, and the map I'm working on, will have another Crane. The Crane is completed and looks, and works better. Hmm well i think this is a very good map the forging is clean and it's very symmetrical but i'd get rid of some of the barriers they are over used in this map and i have to say i've seen the straight up srairs before and i loved that idea because it's jsut like a ladder (but faster) so good job on everything here just try and get rid of some barriers and add a bit more cover in the open spaces. -Im Apo
