This is the battle that Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon fought against Darth Maul. It takes place in the hallway with the shield doors and the big pit of "doom". Well, there is one problem, that I dont see how to fix without starting from scratch. On the floor, there is a peice missing(doesn't affect gameplay at all really), and I cant fix it because it shows up on forge, but I can't move it at all, or delete it ect. But, it doesn't show up in custom games. Ugh. Well give it a whirl. Meant for 2-6 players. Also works for team slayer if u make you own gametype. The pit The Hallway [penguinish]There you go removed all the nub code that was not needed and now the pics work! go me. -Penguinish[/penguinish]
That is a great idea. If only the shield doors could also block humans like in the movie. The links aren't even working for the screenshots.
me and shock are doing one of these, but we welcome competition, of course..it looks good from the 1 screenshot i can see... oh, but they can
not trying to be competition at all, yours is probably going to be alot better XD. Well I can't wait for yours to come out!
nono i said we WELCOME competition, seriously. competition is good, prevents stuff like monopolys, keeps prices low, you get the idea...lol i believe that it makes better maps all in all..i dled this so im gonna see how this is
this is funny, I like it... but is there more to the map, I think there should be, and you should add more picture. but I love the ideal, and star wars rocks...
Hey, I was just thinking about this! Great minds think alike, huh? Or stupid people are really predictable. For the missing floor piece problem, in forge, go to edit mode, and change the gametype to CTF or anything that's not 'All Gametypes'. Then force the piece to respawn and delete it.
Hey insane, didn't I suggest using the shield doors from the movies? also, I think that single shield doors would look more block-y than the large doors.
For the missing piece: 1: Enter Forge mode 2: Start new round 3: Wait near where the missing piece is supposed to be. (Approx 3 mins, may vary in Denver or other altitudes) 4: When it does appear, bring up item properties and set to place at start: yes 5: Save for optimum taste 6: Default map serves 12, portions may vary by map. Sorry, I got wrangled into cooking today...I think I still have some steak sauce in my ear. :squirrel_wink: Very good map...looks thought out, which is always a plus.
sword battles on this map would be great, set it so u dont instantly die form a swrod lunge but can knock each other back
I was thinking of making one like this but looking at yours mine is obviously not going to be as good
I'm a star wars fan so this is awesome no matter what. I also like the pit of death idea. P.S. There are ways to make shield doors that do not allow people though. See this link
