HeadHunterMk118 submitted a new map: Enterprise D Mini - A "miniature" aesthetic filming model of the Enterprise D from Star Trek TNG! Read more about this map...
The amount of self ego stroking in your map posts is pretty laughable. Being proud of your work is fine, but both of your map posts on this site come off as incredibly arrogant.
It is definitely not my intention to be egotistical or arrogant. I am just trying to get my Star Trek builds out into the community. Nothing more, nothing less
Maybe leave the complimenting to other people then is all, rather than referring to your own map as a masterpiece
@CertifiedChamp Why are you so concerned with him saying that? Just ignore him then. And to be fair, he spent a lot of time working on this. He deserves some credit for making this considering how nice it looks.
Thanks for understanding my point of view PreparedSlayer. In my eyes this is an aesthetic masterpiece. Think of it as an artist being proud of there work CertifiedChamp
@CertifiedChamp Because it's a ****ing masterpiece, that's why... and artists across history have always referred to their favorite personal projects, as their "Masterpieces". It's a thing... And, sometimes you do have to toot your own horn. Headhunter is bar-none, the best ship replica builder in H5, period. Also, how ironic is it that you both A: are named "Certified Champ" while giving the above advice. B: use every opportunity to bash anyone who thinks they've done something good, which leaves everyone else noticing the very clear objective here... to make you look better by process of elimination
I didn't realize you were a psychologist. And I didn't once say his work was bad nor did I mention anything about his ability to forge. It just comes off as arrogant when someone praises themselves, I'd say the same to anyone in the community. You should probably calm down and stop trying to play the white knight, you blew things out of proportion and made your own conclusion based off of nothing but your own bias and need to swoop in and save the day, as I can't find any other reason to bring up anything after the discussion was closed. Historical use of the term 'masterpiece' comes off poorly too by the way, I don't see how it's even a comparison. The advice I gave was only given for the benefit of the author and the author alone. I dropped the subject when the author showed that they didn't want the advice and I respected that by not replying further, yet you felt the need to chime in after it was said and done, I could care less about what you think so you should drop it too.
