    ENMITY ISLE
"See our sights and float in our waters!"

Once a thriving trade port community, this small bay area is now the perfect calming retreat for you, with many exciting locations to visit and stay:

    The Lighthouse:
Beautifully constructed with the creation of this Halo, Enmity's Light and Communications Tower continues to protect and guide all passing ships. Be prepared for breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding land in this cozy tower, the highest point of all Enmity Isle. Two mongooses and a warthog are parked and covered on the cliff below for a casual drive to the beach below.

    The Stronghold:

Built atop a rocky outcrop and offering great defense in all the right places, this stylistic fort can be your perfect summer getaway. Includes access to an underground parking garage, consisting of two mongooses and a warthog, making the beach only minutes away!

    The Freighter:
Floating peacefully in the Enmity Harbor lies Valkyrie, a historic freighter that contributed trade to the island. Easy access to any other point on the island is possible with two mongooses and a warthog resting next to the dock. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset up close and personal on Valkyrie's decks.

    Enmity G-66:
Enmity Isle is named after the famous Enmity G-66 that crash landed on the island while transporting Covenant material. Explore the wreckage and see if you can discover anything.

    Enmity Office and Transport:

Here we will drop you off and leave you alone to travel to your paid destination after a quick sign-in process in the office. We will be back here to pick you up at your scheduled time.

    Enjoy your stay!

    Overview:

    Map:

Enmity Isle is a map for up to three teams, and up to 16 players. That's no more than 3 teams of 5 players or 2 teams of 8 players. It's designed for Team Slayer or CTF. This map is not designed for regular slayer. Also, I put capture plates at each team base, so if that's for bomb game types then Enmity Isle has that too.

    Gameplay:
The map is mostly long-range to mid-range, but has many close combat opportunities within each base and around the middle. The map plays best with at least 2v2v2.

    Choosing Your Team:
Each base has it's own pros and cons, so choose your team wisely:

Yellow/Gold spawns at the tower. It has good defense (highest point) and most difficult to access, but the base is split and requires lots of stairs to get back to the top. Another negative is that the only way back up is to go all the way around due to the randomly placed death barriers on the cliff side.

Green spawns at the fort. The fort has good defense, but it's easy to access. No vats of boiling water, but there's something else equally as awesome:

Blue spawns at the boat. It has medium defense and it has medium access from other teams.

    Weapon, Item and Vehicle Placement:

    Extra:
Enmity is the best map I have ever made in forge, or any other game so far, so I'm pretty excited about this one. I hope you enjoy it if you download it, and please let me know what you think, what might need to be fixed, etc. I appreciate all feedback!

Thanks to my friend Jose(FearsomeKiwi) for his help with the weapon placement and a few aesthetics and ways to better the gameplay.

Thanks to my girlfriend Zakiya(CarpeVerpa) for being kool about me spending more time in the game than with her while i was working on the map lol... sorry!! ... but it's done now... so umm.. yay? smiley face? =]

Thanks Forge Hub for being an awesome community, letting me upload my newbie boring maps, dealing with my newbie questions, and giving me so many amazing maps to download and enjoy.

Looks nice, but I can see it being a little hectic and spread out. Have you had time to test it with 8v8 to see how it plays out?
I'll download it and check it out myself ^-^

This is an interesting idea since it has 3 unique bases and is pretty aesthetic, but I think it should be moved to the casual section since you said its not for regular slayer. It looks more like a fun and casual map to play with friends.

IMyEndI: I have play tested it with a few groups of people and it was kool. I have yet to be able to test it with 5v5v5, but with 2v2v2 it was pretty awesome. The only reason i say its better with more people is because the power weapons are a little tough to stop when you're playing 1v1, but when i played 1v1v1 it wasn't that difficult, so it is possible. It also depends on the skill of the players.

Codyr2391: Maybe you're right. I put it in Competitive Maps because I do mean for it to be used with competitive games, just competitive team slayer games. If that's more for casual maps then sure, I just don't know how to move a thread..

    Thanks!
