Enigma Description Enigma in a map made in the sky bubble section of sandbox. I built a giant square in the center and the map takes place in and around it. There is a base on the front and back of the square and a ways into the center (witch houses the overshield) on the two sides without the bases. Enigma plays best with 2-8 players (2v2 and 3v3 being the best). I think you should add a couple railing-type things so people wouldn't fall off as much as they would normally. Then I think the map would be better. It's still a pretty good map though. 4/5.
Yeah I agree about adding the railings although, it is not completely necessary. I do see some but I was thinking more in the middle area. The overall design seems decent though, judging from the pics. Also, I cannot get your dl link to work. I usually go to the map itself (not your fileshare) and copy the link and click the little globe icon (insert link) and paste the link there.
the DL link works but for some reasons you have to copy paste by the way, if someones looking for someone for to play customs or someone to help test my gt is ANTI YOU
Wow, this is really nostalgic for me... It reminds me so much of levels from marathon durandal, but it may be just me. I love the simplicity it has in its design too, but aesthetics could be added in an update perhaps? If forced to rate, a 4.5/5 minus aesthetic touches
nice map. only points i dont like is that you dont interlock. but that you can fix very easy with maybe a version 2. and i think its a little bit too open at some points at for ex. the overshield spot maybe i would add a wall or something
i'll edit my post after a couple more hours of forging taking into account all of your feedback. v2 will have more rails on the walkways, more cover in the middle, and more pretty stuff to look at. btw everything is interlocked, i just think you walk smoother if you only overlap a little when interlocking.
Looks like a great FFA map. You should consider putting railings on some of the walkways though just so people don't randomly fall off, seeing as the majority of your map consists of walkways. You should also consider interlocking the man cannon so it looks nicer, because now it looks somewhat sloppy because its just plopped up on the side. KoTH would play really well on this also.
