Hey all, newbie to forgehub but been making sweet maps for a long time. I made this sandtrap map a long time ago, and may have been done before. I playtested it with a few of my friends, and we all liked it. I never could get a party of more than four though, but im sure it would be a whole lot better with more people. I posted this here because this map really needs some attention. There are the two elephants that serve as mobile bases for both teams. All cover, weapons, and objectives are on the elphants. It was meant to be played completely on the elephant, whether your having a shootout with the other on or close enough to jump across. It works well with any team game, but of course it doesnt work too great on FFA or one-sided. Please rate and comment! i hope that this isn't a mod map, if it is, mod maps aren't allowed here. if it isn't then you could have provided a link and you need embedded screens. save them on your comp and upload them to photobucket.
"I will have pics up shortly" Dont post a map until you have screenshots instead of announcing that there will some up soon. and theres no link to your map. but i can guess it is the same as my 1st map, just a bunch of elephants on sandtrap with a lot of weapons, turrets and vehicles inside of them
He CAN post a map without screens, he has 24 hours before it breaks any rules. But, it will most likely be ignored until fixed.
To Embed: __________ Go to Bungie, click go to screens, click the thumbnail, save the large image to desktop. Go to Imageshack.us. Click Browse, Select pic # 1. Click Host it at the bottom. Scroll down after it loads, copy the code that says 'Hotlink for Forums. (1).' Paste that code here to have your pic embedded. Repeat with other pics. ___________________________ Before you click 'host it,' change the size to 640x480. that's what I use, and there isn't any resize bar when it's on FH.
You should probably use photobucket instead since it is simpler. 1. save the pictures on your comuter 2. upload them to photobucket 3. copy the direct link 4. return to your post and hit the insert image button 5. clear the bar and paste the firect link -sometimes you have to preview your post between every picture added for it to work. This will however give you many chances to fix spelling mistakes
Well, the pics are working for me, and it is nice to see a map that is not on Foundry, I dont see the point in this (not being harsh) but a few more screenshots would help, as well as a description that is more afformative.
