I don't know about this map.. It's extremely cluttered and it isn't really straight-forward. To get anywhere you need to jump and that can get tedious and annoying. This is also an extremely sloppy map. Tighten up your geo-merges and this will be a lot better. You should also straighten up your interlocks -- I find those stupidly messy. 3/5. ur gonna want 2 fix ur map man if u enter this into conquest forge off 2 main things wrong with it is first off conquest maps are linear and second u need 2 take off equipment
This map is alright, using pretty well forge skills but could use some tidying up on neatness and the map looks a bit open around the outsides and is to clutterd in the middle... work on spacing ur maps out.. great job other then that
In some parts of the map, it seems really open and in others it seems jumbled up together. I think the interlocking is good, but not the layout. Also some parts seem very sloppy, such as the bases of foundry. I rate it 3/5
looks okay i mean it can be improved just over all like cover and just soothing out the interlocking very nice idea tho i bet u it ould be a great v2 of this map im going to give it a leanit 3/5 i like to see a v2 thanks tho hope u keep forging
As said above this map is very sloppy. Like... really really sloppy. I recommend that you don't post this for the Conquest Forge-Off because first of all, Conquest maps are not open like this and are linear... look at the other Forge-Off entrees for examples of this. 1/5 because I don't like the idea, I don't like the forging envolved in this, you don't have a description, and you can get out very easily. EDIT: For it to be enterned in te Forge-Off it also needs to be Symmetrical... this isn't even symmetrical. 2nd EDIT: When making a Conquest map, I recommend showing action pictures of Conquest... not Capture The Flag, or King of The Hill. I do however see 2 pictures of Conquest and I guese that's fine. However next time, please show us each territory.
i like the map it seems that you used almost all of space as you could, your geomerging skills are also really good, you just need to work on them not being so sloppy unless u did that on purpose as an affect of the map, if you did then good job, nice work everything seems geomerged which is my best quality
im sorry but the first action shot is pathetic. so much open room and kinda sloppy, although you did interlock and merge pretty well, i will give you credit for that. keep it from getting so sloppy next time 3/5
I'm guessing you only had 2 people in the match for youtr action pics? They're both the same every time haha. Anyway, just to clear things up here's a list I copied and pasted from the announcement thread: Must be on Foundry. Must be set up like a traditional conquest map. Must support the gametype Conquest. Any forging tricks, besides modding, can be used. If working together please limit to two people. All submissions must be posted in this thread. Do not use someone else's map. Do not use a map you have already posted. Conquest gametypes are meant to implement a lot of close quarters battles (CQB) into the map, which is normally reflected by the usage of tight alleyways with a linear path from 1 flag to the rest. See The Book of Conquest for the specs on how it's supposed to be made. I suppose you could drastically alter this map to make it into a Conquest map, but at the moment it is just too open. Just delete unnessacery items and replace them somewhere else to creat a CQB feel. Good luck if you do come back with anything, we'll be waiting =P
this map is quite sloppy and i dont really understand why you morged the fence wall into the singlebox was it for asthetics? but anyways this is also for to open. its not an awful map i just think you need to go back and fix it up and add some more structures
Lose the equipment first off. Conquest maps generally don't have any. Second I love you action pics because all of them have you and one friend playing alone and it just makes you looks like such a loner. lol no offense
the map is alright. i like some parts like the middle. then i see parts that make me have second thoughts. like the back bases are very basic and are not forged that well. i think the map has potential but you need to fix a couple things.
You really should have let this thread die. He posted this as Conquest and it's not even a Conquest looking map. The interlocking and geomerging is sloppy and it is way too open. Look at what Hazza posted and you'll see that this isn't even close to Conquest.
