I posted a similar thread just before Reach came out last year, but since so much time has passed and the limits of Forge 2.0 continue to be tested, I felt that at this time someone might be better able to suggest a way for such a gametype to work.

    The idea:
For anyone who has played the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, oblivion gates are a fairly common occurrence. What I am attempting to create is a working "Oblivion Gate" Gametype in which one individual attempts to make their way to the top of a tower and fight off countless enemies until they reach the "Sigilium" as it is called in Oblivion. The single player would have to activate some trigger that results in the end of the game and a victory (A points/ scoring system is preferred although an honor system would be acceptable)

    The main questions:

What gametypes/ modifications would work best for this?

What weapons should players spawn with? (At the time of my last post an individual suggested the grenade launcher as similar to a bow and arrow and sword as a sword)

And finally, because I haven't been on the hub in a while, No one has done this already have they? Because I don't want to do something if someone else has already tried it.

Just need help figuring out a gametype the map itself will come together pretty quickly once I figure out how to make the game.
