I swear to Glob, this quest better be worth it. If I get 10 gold and an iron dagger I am going to flip the **** out.
I don't know how you're having such trouble finding that stuff, I have 5+ of each flawless gem. Of course, I did steal all of them from people, but that matters not.
Enchanting question.. If I rip a 20% Bow Damage will it only be that percentage? Or does the percentage count on what level I am and the level of soul gem I'm using?
to my knowledge, the better your enchanting, the better the enchantment will be. However you can choose a worse level of the enchantment on a weapon if you so wish for some odd reason. Generally, if you rip the enchantment at 20% you won't see anything that high until you get a pretty good enchanting level. Also, i think soul gems just effect how many charges the item has, not the power of the enchantment, though I could be wrong.
So, if I enchant my armour with Fortify Archery.. should the second enchantment I put on it be a Soul Trapping one? You know, so I make sure my armour always stays charged or whatever?
Soul Trap can only be put on weapons. So you could enchant armor with fortify archery, then enchant the bow with soul trap. Armor never loses charges, only weapons.
you would be better off with Fortify Archery/Fortify Light Armour on you armour; and then something along the lines of Soul Trap/Absorb Health on your bow.
correct I'm not sure whether this had been discussed in here or not, but has anybody managed to get to Lvl 100 Sneaking? If you do, make sure to get the talent you are able to get when you are on lvl 100. At first, I really didn't get the purpose of it, if you duck down during combat, you'll get invisible for 1 second and your enemy looses his target. If you have the talent, that your daggers damage gets multiplied by 15 when you are hidden and you have equiped some of the dark brotherhood gear, your dagger damage gets multiplied by 30. Now, all you have to do is take a dagger, run in front of your enemy, duck down and attack, you'll get the 30x damage, without having to get behind your enemy. That's an instant kill on most enemies on the hardest difficulty if you use the right dagger, and an instant kill on most enemies on adept, with an iron dagger.
