because theyre animals, and because i usually played as dunmer in morrowind and oblivion, and they hate filthy argonians. theyre best used as slaves.
If this weren't about a fictional race within a videogame, I would probably hit you with a socket wrench for being a bigot... I go by usefullness, and argonians are the best for a thief/assassin class... AND they can breathe underwater (I utilize this a lot).
well that is false, my friend. they may be good for a straight up thief, but not assassin. they have zero combat bonuses. if you are basing your decision off pure usefulness, i would suggest khajiit or perhaps bosmer if you want more bow use than sword or dagger. and a simple water breathing spell was not very difficult to acquire in previous games, i would imagine it to be the same in this one.
I'm just trying to say that the racial attribute bonuses there are based on Oblivion, because nobody has all of the information on it for Skyrim. It could very well had been modified, as it was in-between Morrowind and Oblivion.
Probably going stealthy Bosmer, use bows and swords with light armour and an assortment of essential spells like restoration, some stat boosting spells and maybe a few offensive spells. Seems to be the way I go with most games, because I prefer mobility over massive defense like heavy armour offers, and because I like to be stealthy and it's hard to stealth it up wearing something that weighs about the same as your character. :\
Uhh, I think those are straight from leaked info... Otherwise where do you think stuff like the Dunmer "Ancestor Wrath" comes from (by the way, that shrouds you in fire igniting anything within a few feet of you)
Redguard. Boosh. I'm gonna miss hand-to-hand ... My last character in Oblivion could punch through a brick wall. It was beast.
I'll probably go tank with either Imperial or Orc. I used stealth in Oblivion, and it got old having to crouch every time I saw an enemy. I may even give 2-handed a try instead of the tradition sword and shield.
I KNOW RIGHT. I'm going Nord. I don't really care about sneak and whatnot, and if I wanted a stealthy class, I could just level up sneak some, there's nothing stopping me. Esbern (Sydow) is younger than i expected. He's definitely going to fight alongside you. Anyway, Race, Dunmer Major Skills, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Lockpicking, Sneak Minor Skills Alchemy, Block, Illusion, Restoration, Speech ^ Not that you 'choose' any skills to begin with, but these are what i will focus in. The character i'm going to play will not be considered good or evil, but in some gray region. He will primarily use magic, with Alteration to provide defence, Conjuration to summon ethereal weapons, Destruction will cover his more powerful attacks. When i begin i'm going to follow the main questline until i reach High Hrothgar, and then possibly visiting the College of Winterhold before embarking elsewhere. I'm going to work my way into the Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood, but i don't want to rush into those.
Haven't gotten it yet, but I'm definitely going for an archer that is good at sneak. Especially since you can assasinate people.
