Effects of Changing GamerTag

I personally don't think so but I haven't changed my GT but the only effect I guess you could have is confusion with your friends because you changed your GT.

 

ya, nothing happens except that your name changes, don't worry, i posative that you keep everything

 

Also, it can mess up any stats sites that you go to, such as halocharts.com or halo junk. But other than that, no hardcore problems will come up for ya.

 

Well, people won't know who you are. You maps will not show your NEW GT. I changed mine twice, it will be ok in a week I think(it did for me).

 

Major effects: None
Minor Effects:
identity Confusion (fixable by a message to all friends)
map author confusion (not fixable, but if people remember your old name with your old maps it wont matter)

Nothing major happens (I've had mine changed).
Your bungie account is still your old gamertag, but aside from that, you're safe.

 

yeah when i changed mine, nothing happened except my friends were like "who are you?"
