Echelon Echelon is a map Ive been working on for the past few weeks. The design itself is a spiritual successor to a map I'd made in Halo 4 called Purlieu (link provided for the curious). While I was happy with the map, I felt that the ground level and the upper levels didn't work together as well as I had hoped. So for H2A is did a redesign of the map, moving the bases to opposite diagonals and ridding of the design elements that were essentially useless in the first version. The map itself also takes inspiration from catwalk maps like Prisoner and elements from other maps such Destiny’s Shores of Time. The map currently sits at 512 objects (not including non-visible objects such as spawns and objectives). The framerate is mostly ok, but not quite where I'd like it at. For now the map is not ready to be tested, but I wanted to spread some awareness because it should be ready sometime next week. If you're available to test, please comment, pm me, add me on live, whatever works because I've become unfamiliar with how maps are tested nowadays.
